PERSONALITY

Loras Tyrell is Young, Arrogant, Prickly and Short Tempered. Loras loves the taste of Glory in Tourney's and battle. He yearns for the chance to prove himself better than others espically his elder two brothers. Though he wishes to prove himself better he does not want to be Heir or lord but just to be respected as such. He see's it his duty to serve the crown and his sister at the behest of his father. How else could he serve House Tyrell than have a place in the Glorious White Cloaked Kingsguard. Though he did have relations with Renly Baratheon he does not consider him self Homo-Sexual. He can not say he prefers Male over female. He does see both sides as just as attractive but now that he is a Kingsguardsman he takes his vow seriously and serves the King and Queen without Question or need o Question.

HISTORY

Loras Tyrell was born as the Third Son of House Tyrell. He was named after his great great grandfather who held the same name of Loras. He was born two years before the end of the Robert's Rebellion. He was a boy shrouded in coin and power. When he turned Nine he was sent to Squire for Renly Baratheon who was not much older. He was trained in arms and courtly procedures. He was skilled in Courtly procedure by the time he was Six and after that he was sent to Squire for Renly Baratheon. Loras was trained by several Knight.



By the time Loras was Fifteen and Renly was Sixteen Loras had fallen in love with Renly and began a sexual and meaningful affair. Loras served as Renly's Squire and Page until he was Sixteen where he was Knighted after a Sixteen Day Tourney where over the day's he defeated over Thirty-Two Knights and was Knighted by the Third. The terms of Loras' wardship were soon met on his Seventeenth Name day and he was sent back to Highgarden. He was greeted with open arms by his family and was happy to see his Sister and Brothers, He had a good relationship with all his Siblings but most so his Sister and Elder Brother. Willas was one of his best friends when he returned. They were often seen talking over if's or maybe's of Courtly politics. But one thing most in High Garden all agreed on was that the Boy was arrogant. He was self sure and arrogant. The people loved him in large and small.



He won a Tourney on Prince Joffery's nameday beating all of the Seven Kingsguard and several others. He crowned Several Girls the Queen of Love and Beauty and all possible wives. This is where he met with Renly again and continued his love affair with him. But he also slept with several girls over the years. He served several years as the Sworn Sword to Lord Renly. The next Tourney he rose to fame winning was The Hand's Tourney where he rode a Horse on heat against several of the Kingsguard and Gregor Clegane.



Loras planned with Renly to have Renly sit upon the Iron Throne and named King with Margaery as his Queen if Robert Ever died after finding out the truth about the Children of Robert and Cersei. And with in the Year Robert was dead and Loras and Renly fled to High Garden with every Noble they could. This soon made Renly a claiment for the Throne and the King in Highgarden. The Tyrell and Stormlands surronded Loras and gave him an Army of almost 100'000 men and soldiers around him. At Bitterbridge where Renly lost his first Melee in many years to the Woman Brieanne of Tarth and she gained the last place in the Guard under Loras' command.



Loras was chosen as the Leader of Renly's Guard the Rainbow Guard. He served Renly right up until his death where he slayed Emmon Cuy and Robar Royce, the two Rainbow Guard in charge of protecting Renly that morning. When the Tyrells join the Lannister cause against Stannis, Loras fought beside his brother, Ser Garlan the Gallant, who wore Renly's armor and impersonates the dead king at the Battle of the Blackwater. Afterwards, Loras was granted a place in Joffrey's Kingsguard



Loras was said to have served the Kingguard only to protect Margaery but for him it was to avoid marriage while he Mourned for Renly. He stood vigil for Jaime at Joffery's funeral as well as with Jaime at Tywin's.
