PERSONALITY

Edric is young and that lends to some of his personality. Edric can sometimes be arrogant and pushy in what he wants and how he goes about getting it tough like his father, He inspires loyalty and friendship in those who would serve him. He enjoys the odd hunting trip though unlike his father only drinks wine in small amounts with Renly. He is often compared to his father in his younger days and likes and dislikes it at the same time. He has a keen sense of justice equal to one of Stannis but a friendliness of his other uncle Renly and usually finds a line inbetween. He is often picked on for being a bastard but can back up his place as king with those who follow. He does not hate his Queen nor has he come to love her. Edric does not often sleep around as his father had.

HISTORY

Edric was born to Robert Baratheon and Delena Florent. The Week after he was off the Wet Nurse he was sent to Storms End to be fostered by Renly Baratheon and became fast friends with his uncle. Despite his Black Blood he was treated kindly by his uncle and his family. He spent most of his childhood training and sparring with one of his closest Friends Loras Tyrell. Renly made sure Edric was skilled in arms and politics hoping if Renly never had a son that Edric would inherit both Storms End and the Baratheon name with it. He didn't often meet with Stannis but when they did meet they would talk over law changes and decree's Robert had made.



Edric became fast friends with many people he met, Charming them to almost forget that he was a bastard but some still looked down upon him for his black blood. That all changed when Ned Stark sent a Letter to Stannis, Renly and many others that by the Kings own decree that Edric was the Kings sole and truest heir to the Throne Edric was thrusted into events that would spiral into a war that'd last more than three years. Stannis, Renly and many other lords declared for Edric instantly going to war with the Lannisters. While Tywin was off fighting Robb Stark it gave Edric a chance to capitilise and force the Lannisters to fight on two fronts. He left the tactics to Stannis and learned from him and fought beside him. While Renly convinced the Tyrell's to marry Margaery Tyrell to Edric and bring them into the War of the Four Kings.



The war lasted three years before Edric, Stannis and Garlan Tyrell led the biggest battle Westeros had seen since Robert's Rebellion against Kings Landing. It soon became to be known as the Battle of the Three Kings. Tywin Lannister brought his armies to Kings Landing with Robb Stark hot on his tail while Edric had began the siege and then the battle lines were drawn outside of Kings Landing.



At First the Starks engaged the Lannisters and almost lost the Battle when Jaime Lannister lead men onto the Stark flank. And then much to Stannis' dismay Edric ordered the charge on the Lannisters and took them by suprise together Robb Stark and Edric Baratheon destroyed the Lannister Host capturing Tywin, Jaime and the Crown in the process.



From there the two Kings decided they would call a Great Council to settle the disputes in Westeros and at that council sealed Edric's Rule over Westeros. After many concessions on both sides terms were agreed to by the both of them. The North would remain under the Iron throne's banner but they would be free to internally resolve matters that would usually go to the Crown. Tywin Lannister would be executed for crimes against the Crown, Cersei would be sent to Essos in exile and Jaime Lannister would take the Black among a few other small concession such as help from the North to clear the Crown's debt in exchange for protection from the crown from the Westerlands.



And now the crown seems to rest upon Edric's Head, but how long will it stay.

ROLEPLAY EXAMPLES

The Battle seemed to be over in such a short time. About Twenty minitues after Edric had called for the charge his forces broke the Lannisters attack on the Northern Troops. Tywin had been taken off his horse and dragged off by two of Edric's Loyalist Knights and Knights that he would appoint to his Kingsguard, Loras Tyrell and Emmon Cuy. He would be dealt to later. The Combined armies of Tyrell, True Baratheon along side the North, Riverlands and The Vale had destroyed the Lannister Force. Jaime Lannister had nearly destroyed the Stark forces when he took a flank from almost seemed no-where and from what was being said the Starks had captured him after Jaime slayed almost ten Calvalry men by himself.



Edric stood taking his blade out of the dead body of a Lannister Knight as Stannis stepped behind him. "Edric! Now is our time, We should attack Robb while he thinks we are fighting with him. We can ruin his forces before he even knows what hit him." Stannis said grinding his teeth in what Edric found an annoying manner. "No, I will not attack Robb. The Stark's and Baratheon's have been friends for many years. We can cover the wound made by the Lannisters. I need only talk to the man. I am the King, Not you. I make the decisions." Edric pulled away and walked through the scattered Lannister dead.



Before he could make his way to meet with Robb who was cleaning up the dead in his camp. A Lannister man leapt from a prone position on the Ground and tried to Stab Edric with the Dagger but a Direwolf soon jumped in the way and pushed the man to the ground with his teeth tearing into the Crimson armored mans neck. "I think we're about even now, Baratheon!" The Voice of Robb Stark boomed as he stepped forward.
