HISTORY

Lyanna is the last surviving child of Lord Richard Stark though she is also believed to have died in the tower of Joy and have been buried in the crypts of Winterfell. She grew up in Winterfell with two of her three brothers and her father. She was often seen on horse back when she didn't have her classes to attend. She also secretly learned the art of sword fighting with her brother Benjen in the Godswood. Lyanna never wanted to be a lady but she still learned the ways from her septa, as was her duty to her family.

Lyanna was betrothed to Robert Baratheon. When she confined her fears of the marriage to Ned he tried to convince her that his friend would love only her. Having heard of Robert's Bastard daughter in the Vale, Lyanna was not convinced.

Lyanna attended the tourney of Harrenhal with her three brothers and her betrothed. It was here that she first met the Prince.  Her and her brothers also gained the friendship of Howland Reed at the tourney after Lyanna scared off 3 squires that she had caught bullying him, with the use of a training sword.
