There had been a shift in the way people acted around Alexander. They had denied him all morning. He had already sent his Knights to butcher some pig farmer who did not send food to the Rowan camp. His two best men were gone. Alexander had sent one of his Knights to fetch Eleanor. "You're people are unsufferable, Eleanor. I may as well just burn them all now." He laughed as he looked at the Young Woman who entered the bath house. Alexander was well built, He obviously had a thing for keeping himself clean as he demanded the same of Eleanor. She was to bathe regually and her Womanhood shaved cleanly. He was obcessive of the Young Woman. He moved his way to the woman and kissed her softly. He no longer beat her, Though he still bedded her between three and four times a night. Under his Maester's wishes he took Eleanor more gently than before and was always gentle around her stomach. He could still speak harshly to the woman.

"Would you like a Goblet of Wine?" He asked as he turned around and poured himself a goblet. It seemed that Alexander didn't care a scarp for her one second an the next he seemed like he loved her. He could be wrothful and he could be dangerous. He did not take any shit from anybody. "The Maester says that our child is not far. Maybe the next few days to weeks." He said as he looked at Eleanor as he removed the straps of her dress for her. The Bump on her stomach was a little but it did not change the deep sense of love and hate he felt for the woman. He placed the wine bottle back on the stand before turning his back to her, Looking over the bathing room that Alexander had made their private bathing room.

Alexander Rowan was no different from the day he'd stepped foot into House Norcross. He was cruel, selfish, and held love for no one. Eleanor thought he did not even love himself. How could he, when he was allowing himself to be led down such a dark path for crude, devilish desires? For that, she pitied him. The child within in her was more pitiful, however, to be conceived from a relationship not founded upon love or a proper union of marriage. Being a bastard was sure to be hard, though what would be worst was growing up with the blood of man such as Alexander in your veins. And knowing that the man that was your father had murdered your uncle, pushed your grandfather to suicide, and raped your mother, resulting in your birth. Eleanor thought of this more often now that her poor child was soon to be in her arms. "And what keeps you from burning them? Your promise to me? I had not thought you cared much for it," she told him, placing a hand upon her abdomen. It had grown considerable and she did not understand why the Lord still insisted upon being around her while she was in this state.

"No," she answered his question shortly. Wine was something she detested now more than ever. It felt as if that glass of wine she'd first rejected from him on the day of his arrival had caused so much more misery in her life. Our child; she could have laughed at the words did not make her blood boil. It was enough, was it not, that he had forced himself upon her and managed to create the child growing within her. He acted as if he had done no wrong. There were no apologies coming from his lips, no sign of regret. She stared at the back of his head, her eyes narrowed as she glanced from the wine bottle and then back to his head. Still he paraded about so freely, all high and mighty, with no one to take him down a notch. She'd been foolish to place hope in Tytos. Moving forward, she lifted the wine bottle from the stand, taking it into her hand, and when she was close behind Alexander she swung it with as much strength as she could muster against the back of his head.

The wine bottle shattered and she watched the Lord tumble forwards before placing her hands upon his neck. "You ripped my brother from this world with your bloody hands! And my father...he was drove mad because of you! Do you think I've forgotten? I will never forgive you!" she shouted down at him, her eyes blazing with anger. This was an opportune moment to kill him. The possibility was there. She could pick up a piece of the broken wine bottle and slit his throat. But that would leave her child fatherless. And yet, she picked up a piece of the broken bottle that was nearby, gripping it tightly in her palm. "My family, my House...you ruined everything! I won't let you be happy," the girl told him, placing the shard of the broken bottle against her abdomen. If she could not deprive her child of a father, then she would first deprive the father of a child, no matter how much pain it would cause her or the death she would surely face.

He just sighed and turned when she said no to the goblet of wine. Even when he offered kindness she threw it back at him. And that was exactly happened more or less. The Bottle of wine broke on impact on the back of his head. A sharp pain came across the back of his head. A glass shard had hit his cheek and left a gash below his eye. After gathering as much as he could he turned. "HOW FUCKING DARE YOU!" He said to see her pick up the glass shard and place it near her stomach. He swallowed. His sword was getting polished and oiled. "I should fucking kill you." He said as he looked at her. He was tempted to let her just do it. But he couldn't let himself do that. He just stepped back. "What do you want? Do you want me to leave? To bring your father and brother back? Aegon and his Priestess could do that." He laughed as he looked at her.

Something in him wanted to plunge that glass shard into her throat and watch her die just for fun, But he couldn't. His Mind told him to do one thing and yet his heart another. He was torn, And he didn't know it. He just swallowed. A guard knocked on the door and spoke. "My Lord, Are you okay?" Alexander looked at the door and back to Eleanor. "I'm fine. Just dropped the Wine Bottle."
"Would you like another?" The Guard Asked.

"No, Put the men on ready to attack or leave." He said as he spoke. "If you hurt yourself or my child I will murder every last one of your people. I will have them hung from every tree from here to Goldengrove. You are at my mercy Eleanor. I offer one last thing. I will leave, Your people will be safe and your people will be fed and taken care of as they should be." He spoke looking at her. "

In exchange you will come with me to Goldengrove. I will send a report to Mace Tyrell and say that House Norcross is no longer a threat and that I have taken you as a Hostage and that your Caestillian has been placed in charge of your house and House Norcross will be innocent of all it's crimes. I will be rewarded for insuring loyalty to the Crown and you will be innocent and safe from what ever judgement the King would give." He said as he looked at her. "And you will come and live at Golden Grove. It is your choice, Eleanor. The killing of all your people in some failed attempt at rebellion or your people are safe and you can live with me. As my Mistress." He swallowed as he looked at her. "Your child will have a mother and a father." He said looking down to see the blood from his face drip onto his chest.

He could have killed her a thousand times over already and had not. Those words he spoke were empty, though he'd murdered her spirit with each tear drop that fell from her eye. She held the shard against her abdomen with a shaking hand, pressing it in far enough to cut the top layer of her skin. Droplets of blood seeped onto her fingers, rolling off them and onto the floor. It almost seemed like he was bargaining with her, when he asked what she wanted. But Eleanor did not know what she wanted. To bring the dead back was blasphemous. She would never stand behind a religion that claimed such things to be possible nor the man that believed in it. "What do I want? I don't know," she answered honestly. "Maybe this is the best I can do, to make you suffer. My father and brother suffered...you caused it. You are a murderer and you mean nothing to me!" That might not have been entirely true. He was her unborn child's father and she could not deny her attraction to him - that she did like him when he was being nice to her. It was wrong. She should have ended her life much sooner.

She turned to look at the door when there was a knock and listened to the guard speak. Turning back to look into Alexander's eyes, she waited to see what he would do. It did not matter if he called the guard inside. The guard would be too late and she would have already ended her life and that of the one inside her. Yet he did not tell the man to enter. "Why should I believe your words? You should just kill me. My life, being held in your hands, it's disgusting. You don't care for me, this child," she placed her other hand against her abdomen, "or anyone. You're heartless."

Eleanor shook her head, refusing his suggestion in her mind. She wanted her people to be safe, but she did not want to live in Goldengrove as a mistress to Lord Rowan. "I will be no mistress," she told him, angrily. As a noble Lady, she would not have herself be further disgraced with such a stigma placed upon her. It was better to die with a little dignity than none at all. "I'll go with you to Goldengrove, to save my people, but I can kill myself there all the same. My child will go with me," the girl told him, backing away from him, moving the shard of the bottle from her abdomen to her own throat. "Don't threaten me with murder anymore. It does not matter. I'm done. I'll have no need to protect anyone when I'm dead." She closed her eyes, the hand that held on to the shard still shaking. It was hard to steady her hand. After whispering a prayer for forgiveness, she took a deep breath and made to cut at her own throat with the shard.

But his Lady Eleanor made him a better man. He loathed himself and she loathed him but they loved eachother in their own ways.

Alex looked at her, Alex's main advantage in fighting was he was faster than the others. He used a Arming sword without a shield and dirty tactics. The Master at Arms was told to make sure Alex used his advantage. He fought in two battles during the war of the Four Kings. He was named commander of a small gurilla group where he burned the food stocks with twenty of his best men. He was Knighted for his effort. He swallowed as he saw blood. When she bled when he did something he always made sure that her wounds were cleaned. He didn't like to watch her bleed and when he saw the blood come from her stomach. He looked down and moved closer and in one quick movment his hand was around her wrist and he pulled the glass out of her hand with the other he grabbed it out of her hand cutting his own hand in the process he threw the glass away and grunted in pain. "You will not kill yourself." He said looking into her beautiful eyes and swallowed as he looked at her. "I don't want you to die." Alexander was ruthless, cruel and almost heartless but even when he did abuse Eleanor he made sure that she was cared for at least somewhat. She was cleaned, fed, dressed. He treated her with some measure of respect outside of bed. He didn't hate her, He loved her if anything. He just loved her in his own way.

He sighed as he looked at her and placed a hand on her cheek and looked her over. "I want to be a better man." He said looking at her. "Do you know why I'm still here? Because my guilt keeps me up. I don't expect you to believe me but I want to change and you change me. I don't know how or why but I need you." He said looking down and watched her face.

The shard was gone. It had been taken from her. Eleanor opened her eyes, staring back into Alexander's own pair of eyes. He had taken the shard of the broken wine bottle, leaving her hand empty with blood oozing from the deep cut that had been made when she first taken grip of the shard. She was angry, that he'd taken away the shard and glad, at the same time. She felt pitiful and sad, because her lack of will to live proved how far she'd fallen. Her father had ended his life, perhaps. It was still not clear if he ended it or it was ended for him. She was the all that was left, apart from Arglan. And he asked for peace, for compliance. It was the same with Tytos Brax. He had left her here to end up like his own mother. She should have written Flement. The house would be in ruin and she'd probably be dead, but Flement would have taken Alexander's head. Then they would be even.

What did his words mean? If he did not want her to die and would not allow her to kill herself, then he was keeping her alive to torment her all the more. He was selfish. She hated him, it burned inside her heart, an eternal flame of hate. And beside that flame flickered another, one that wanted to cure him him, felt sorrow for him, even loved him. "Go away," she muttered, not wishing to look at him anymore. His presence confused her, made her waver. Had he not been there, she'd have been able to end her life. If this opportunity had arisen sooner, she'd have been able to kill him. Both options were impossible now.

He was wrong, because she did believe him. For once, he seemed sincere. But it did not matter. "Even if you're telling the truth, it doesn't matter, because the old you is still inside of you," she told him. "Do you what it feels like, to be alone? To lose the people you love one by one? I wanted you to feel that pain you made me feel. Drive you to the point of wanting to end your own life...I almost killed myself because of you!" It had been her choice to try and end her life, that was true, but she'd had never made such a choice if he had not driven her to the breaking point. "And I can't do it! I'm too weak. I tell myself there's goodness in you. I hate you and I love you. You have no idea what you've done to me," she exclaimed, placing her hands against his chest as tears began falling from her eyes.

He just placed his hand on the back of her head when she buried it into his chest. He just looked at her awkawardly stroking her hair. "I've been cold, I've been merciless. But the blood on my hands scares me to death. Maybe I'm waking up." He swallowed as he let her cry into his bare chest. Alexander's chest was cold yet warm at the same time. Alexander hated being touched by anyone that wasn't Eleanor. His soldiers could not even touch him. He hated being touch and even had people that touched him beaten.

But Eleanor was differant, He liked her touch and saw the softness in her. "I-I don't even know what it feels like to not be alone." He said as he brought her head to look at him and he pressed his lips against hers. "I don't expect you to forgive me. I don't want you to. I don't deserve your forgiveness." He said thinking back to the dagger in his hand and how he smiled and laughed when he slit Arren's throat and watched him bleed to death, Arren was trying to protect Eleanor. She deserved his protection. Arren was prideful in his own way. He raised his hand and it was cut off. And then Eleanor's father was dead by his own hand or maybe it was a mercy killing from one of his men or maybe even one of Alexander's men. He swallowed his pride for just the second he needed to speak what he needed to do. He placed the shard in her hand and placed it to his throat. "Do it! I won't stop you." He swallowed. "Give me what I deserve. Slit my throat and dump my body in some stream to rot." He said almost embracing the feeling of the cold on his throat. "You deserve to be free from a man like me. Just give me one more thing." He said as he pushed her hand away so he could press his mouth to hers and then pulled her hand back so the glass was back to his throat. He closed his eyes and would of embraced death if it came.
